Toughest task for a couple after marriage!!

Sorry for the delay in the post.

Parents protest against against nursery school admission process. Every year from beginning February till April end, it is the toughest time for the parents of little kids. I think that it is the toughest task for a couple after marriage!! “Child’s admission” why I am saying the toughest task is because after you have achieved or accomplished it, it’s like deep relaxation to mind, body and soul.

As I am staying in Delhi/NCR region so the scenario of admission in nursery in schools of Delhi is…!!!!! When a young couple for their little child applies in the schools for admission, they spend sleepless nights surfing the internet, gathering information, asking favors and references.  The process through which the parents go for their child’s first admission is the couple’s first external test.

Let me share one of the true stories of INITIATIV-e.

An IT consultant, south Delhi Resident faced the same heat in 2009. The fact that there are few seats supply for huge demand. There is a cut throat competition and the school authority has become the dictator or we can say that the criteria are based on their whims and fancies. But amidst all the rigmarole this man got his child admitted.

The circumstances which he went through had made him think about the parents like him. He wrote a book on this issue. He developed a website for the struggling couples where regular updates are given about schools and admission process. Various strategy and experiences are shared.  It has more than 40K parents registered.

So let’s see what are the questions poised to us??

·         Why are the numbers of schools not increased?

·         Why middlemen interference and the shifarish is still prevalent?

·         Why the admission criteria are not standardized?

These questions…..need solution, which must be implemented!!
